Baseplate
Stage VI Direct Inject Duraflex ST – Duraflex material was specifically engineered to maintain consistent flex in a wide range of cold temperatures. Union has exclusive rights on this brand of nylon, so you wont find it anywhere else.
Fused Vaporlite Bushings – Utilizing an injection molding process very similar to the way plastic parts are created, Fused Vaporlite is a new material that is more waterproof, durable, and precise than any other EVA material on the market today.
Extruded 3D Aluminum Heelcups – Designed for optimum heel hold and minimization of drag, Union 3D Extruded Aluminum heelcups are the strongest in the business.
Highback
Strata Highback – Light and asymmetrical, the Strata Highback is responsive and tweakable for whole mountain domination.
Hex Forward Lean Adjustment – Adjust the forward lean with the turn of a hex.
Straps
Forma Ankle Strap – New and improved, the design of the Forma Ankle Strap produces strength and rapid response on the outside, fit and pillowed comfort on the inside.
Ultragrip X Toe Straps – Multi-positional options and thermoplastic anti-slip material keeps you locked in and on point. Each version has differing amounts of material based on weight.
